Abstract: Silty slurry would be anisotropic quickly because of the deposit of silt.In order to take this anisotropy into account,equations were established to analyze the shape and mechanical behavior of geotextile bags assuming that the density of the slurry increased linearly,and the numerical method to this solution was given.It was shown that the geometry of the geotextile bags with anisotropic slurry was flatter,and the tensile was larger than that in the case of homogeneous slurry.Therefore,it was necessary to take the anisotropy of silty slurry into account.
