Abstract:
A series of experiments on high energy dynamic compaction (DC) were successfully accomplished in practice on a rubble fills site in coastal area, for the first time in China. The experiments provided the parameters for the design, construction and monitor of 10000 kN·m DC. The observed results of ground deformation and pore water pressure were analyzed and compared with those of 3000 kN·m DC. The construction parameters and characteristic of pore water pressure on rubble fills site during dynamic compaction were acquired to meet the requirement for the revision and development code of corresponding.
