Abstract:
Established the mathematical model of development of frozen wall considering the groundwater flow with theory of thermal transport in porous media and Darcy flow model. The variation of the temperature field and the flow field was analyzed by the numerical calculation. Obtained the quantitative relation of the limited space of freezing pipes with the flowing velocity,the initial temperature,the surface temperature of freezing pipes,the radius of freezing pipes and the thermal conductivity of the unfrozen region.The dry density,the water content and the specific heat didn’t effect the limited space of freezing pipes, but affected frozen wall proceeding velocity.
