Abstract: On the basis of decadal measurement this paper analyzes the settlement of railway on soft clay ground in Lianyungang.Besides it accurately predicts residual settlement after construction.According to failure mode of soft clay ground,a new stability calculation method,considering tension crack of fill,is provided.Meanwhile,it analyzes the relationship of safety factor calculated by new method with lateral deformation and settlement.
