Abstract: In this paper,the landslide of a piled wharf occurring during construction is described.According to in situ and laboratory tests,the landslide characters are summerized,the slope stability is calculated, and the cause responsible for the landslide is analyzed.All these indicate that combined action of many unfavourable factors caused the landslide,and provide useful data and information for design and construction of soft clay slope in future.
