The Hugoniot equation of state for Bukit Timah granite

  • 摘要: 在单级轻气炮上对花岗岩的激波状态方程进行了实验测定。最高撞击速度为800m/s,相应的最高撞击压力是7GPa。锰铜应力计被用于测量撞击应力或平均激波速度。由实验结果拟合得到BukitTimah花岗岩的Hugoniot线性关系式和多项式状态方程。

     

    Abstract: The shock wave propagation characteristics of the Bukit Timah granite of Singapore have been measured by recording the shock wave profiles produced by the impact of projectiles accelerated in a light gas gun.The impact velocities in the experiments were from 65 to 800 m/s,and the corresponding peaks of impact stresses were from 0.5 to 7 GPa.The Hugoniot relation,expressed as the curve of shock wave velocity versus particle velocity,obtained from the experiments shows linearity in the testing stress range. The polynomial equation of state is obtained by regression of the experimental data.
