Abstract: Based on field observations, simulation model test of equivalent material in the laboratory, and theoretical research, indentation theory of soft floor rockmass was established. The theory puts forward the mechanical mechanism of indentation deformation of floor rockmass, the influence factors of indentation, and supporting principle of soft floor. Finally the application of indentation theory to floor control of soft rockmass is described.
