Abstract: In this Paper, on the basis of a new rockmass fracture damage model and in situ construction condition, and on the supposition that two sections are excavated in each step, the construction sequence majorization is performed for a group of carverns in Xiaolangdi water conservancy engineering.The stability of surrounding rockmass of majorized scheme is remarkably improved compared with that of original scheme and some useful results are obtained.
